MY view on NILLAIKALAKKI

Nillaikalakki has become an important part of many people's lives, among both adults and children. Nillaikalakki silambam originated as ancient combat techniques. I first became involved with this martial arts when I was 15 years old. Depending on the form or stages, it involves performing technical and explosive moves. Nillaikalakki can provide numerous health benefits for people of all ages. Nillaikalakki is also in the field of medicine. They seem worlds apart, but they both have played significant roles in my life and for reasons that are surprisingly similar. Nillaikalakki offer challenge, require great discipline and necessitate a goal-oriented approach.
There are many things about my view of Nillaikalakki. One of them is our self-defence. The most obvious reason why I learned Nillaikalakki is that it teaches us how to defend ourselves. It is undeniable that there is violence in the world. It occurs unexpectedly and without regard for who the victim is, violence can affect all of us. It is essential to be prepared for such an occurrence, and the crux of training is to learn fighting skills. Not only we learn specific techniques but also develop toughness and stamina needed to endure a physical altercation. This knowledge and conditioning lead to other benefits besides just being equipped with techniques.
Moreover, self-confidence was also built from learning Nillaikalakki. This is because we can handle ourselves physically, we begin to develop confidence in ourselves and our capabilities. We tend to walk taller with our heads up; we will be prepared, calm and self-assured. We would be surprised at our mental attitude after learning this Nillaikalakki silambam. I learned that we can endure, that I can apply real self-defence techniques and that I am capable and strong. Thus, Nillaikalakki builds confidence and decreases my fear.
Besides that, Nillaikalakki made me more focused and increases awareness. I became more aware of the environment, which helped in my life to be very focused. Awareness is also a very important thing that can generally help to navigate my way through life. Nillaikalakki is also a complete workout. It builds stamina, strength and flexibility. It also develops coordination and balance. I felt better physically as my body became stronger and more capable. I breathe better, and blood flows to all the parts of the body. Nillaikalakki is a fun way to stay in shape.
Despite some problems in methodology, all the studies indicated improvements in the balance and the ability to stand for a longer time period, as well as in reaction time. Nillaikalakki has since done more for me that I would have even hoped, both in body and mind. It is also a martial art that focuses not on the practitioner's size and strength but on the manipulation of his subject's strength. Through my training, I have learned a great deal not only about the art in general but also other areas of my life. I have improved my ability to become serious when necessary and to keep from getting too excited or angry over everyday issues. Some may say, Nillaikalakki has made me more ‘easygoing’ but I would say it has simply improved my overall temperament. Truly, the practice of Nillaikalakki has benefited my body and my soul. Lastly, Success doesn’t find you. You have to go out and get it is one of the phrases that suites Nillaikalakki silambam.
